I'm a local Twin Cities realtor and real estate investor. I own rental units myself, including a furnished rental property, and I've helped dozens of first-time buyers and investors close on duplexes and multi-families in the metro. Most agents will show you a house. I show you the numbers, what the rent could realistically be, what it costs to hold, and whether the deal actually works as an investment. I do this because I'm an investor myself, not just an agent who took a real estate class on rental properties.

As a buyer's agent, my commission is typically paid by the seller in most transactions, so there's no out-of-pocket cost to you as a buyer.
